You are invited you to join with South Side neighbors and allies in our third in a series of 4 meetings meant to identify community development priorities as part of our Main Street project. These gatherings are meant to help us network across neighborhoods, identify themes and ideas we may have in common, and practice participatory decision making in preparation for Main Street Strategic Vision Planning On April 22-23.
We will meet on Thursday, March 2nd, from 6-8pm at Cesar Chavez ES, 6251 Jaguar, entrance on Avenida Contenta. Please see attached flyers in English and Spanish and share far and wide.
The structure this time will be facilitated table conversations of about 10 minutes each, speed dating style. Our Main Street project is meant to identify our priorities and design our future, but also to build our own capacity to organize and advocate for the future we deserve. One based on equity, social justice, and community leadership. Join us, and please share this invitation with all your South Side networks, colleagues, neighbors, clients and schools.
